Buffalo Ranch Meatball Subs

What’s better on game day than a meatball sub? These buffalo ranch subs take five minutes to prep and are guaranteed to be a crowd pleaser.

1 package frozen Farm Rich Homestyle Meatballs

1 12 oz jar of your favorite Buffalo sauce

1 Tbsp ranch seasoning

1/2 cup ranch dressing

2 cups iceberg lettuce, shredded

8 – 10 sub rolls

1 tsp celery salt

Directions

  • Combine Buffalo sauce and the ranch seasoning in a crockpot. Add meatballs and gently toss to coat.
  • Cook according to package directions for slow cooker cooking.
  • Assemble the subs by drizzling a tablespoon of ranch dressing on the inside of each sub roll. Add lettuce and warm meatballs. Add crumbled blue cheese and a dash of celery salt.
  • Serve immediately.
  • Optional: you can toast the sub rolls under the broiler for a minute or two before assembling the sandwiches.

Slow Cooker Hawaiian Meatballs

Here’s another winning recipe for your slow cooker. It features a sweet and spicy Hawaiian-style sauce that makes it impossible to eat just one.

Ingredients

1 package frozen Farm Rich Homestyle Meatballs

1 8.5-ounce jar hoisin sauce

1 12-ounce jar of pineapple jam

1 tsp chili garlic sauce

2 tsp soy sauce

1 tsp freshly minced ginger

3 cloves minced garlic

2 thinly sliced green onions

sesame seeds

Directions

  • Whisk together hoisin sauce, jam, garlic sauce, soy sauce, fresh ginger, and garlic in the bowl of your 4-quart slow cooker.
  • Add the meatballs and stir to coat evenly.
  • In a bowl, whisk together the pineapple jam, hoisin sauce, chili garlic sauce, soy sauce, minced ginger, and garlic.
  • Cook on high for 3 hours. Cooking on high helps this sauce get wonderfully sticky, so don’t switch things up by cooking on low for a longer time – the results won’t be the same.
  • Serve warm and garnished with green onions and sesame seeds.
