Then, you would calculate your spell saves with your proficiency bonus. Put the proficiency bonus in the appropriate place on your wisdom check to figure out your spell save DC. This will be different for every spell you cast. Some will require fewer proficiency bonuses while others will require more.
You can determine a disadvantage or advantage depending on which version of the spell you are casting. Charm spells give a small advantage to higher level casters, and a large advantage to lower level ones.
Your dexterity saving throw is a little different. You will be dealing with fireballs and blasts when you deal with a dexterity saving throw instead of a constitution saving throw. This is pretty normal, though, so don’t worry too much about it.
5e Spell Save DC Vs 5e Saving Throw & Advantage
Most of us know what normal damage dice are. They are the ones we usually play with in D&D. We will not touch that terrain damage on monsters because we want to stay on the ground and deal with the enemy. We will use our super fast healing and restoration rolls to recover from damage. This is how we can beat up on our enemies and use our 5e spell save dc to kill them!
Saving throw and spell save DC will work differently. Saving throw is a normal saving throw against the DC of whatever the spell is. The 5e spell save dc for the same spell works differently. Let us look at this more closely. Let us start with normal attack rolls. These are rolled after combat.
If we want to cast a disease, poison, or paralysis on the enemy right now, we can do that as a normal attack roll. But since we cast a damaging disease and since we are fighting, the enemy will take thirty feet of damage. If we want to save the thirty feet of damage, we will roll three damage dice. This is how it works with spell save DC.
Cast Another Strong Spell
Now we roll to see what our saving throw will be. Since we have a high toughness score, this will be a natural hit. Once again we have to use a high strength check to bypass the saving throw. At this point we are using our high intelligence score to overcome the hit dice hit die. We use our superior spell slots along with a high intelligence to cast another strong spell.
Now let us look at our second combat round. We have our draining attack and now the enemy has a saving throw. This is a very critical round since if we can’t save our character, we will take twelve damage dice. Our saving throw will be a natural hit die.
If we would need more than one strong spell to overcome the high save DC of our opponents we would need to use some high charisma saves and extra hit dice. This is where it gets tricky. If we were to use more than one high charisma save or extra hit die, then we would need to have lots of energy drain spells or drain stats. I’m not entirely sure yet how we can overcome the enemies high energy drain resistances.

Another way is to look at where we are and how far we have to travel. If we are at the beginning of the game we don’t need to calculate the target number but for the end of the game we need to calculate it. We can do this by adding the target range of the illusion spell to the current rolls for that spell. For instance in my invisibility spell I roll a 5 and a 6 to reach the destination. Then I add the normal 6 to get to the target range and I will roll the target number on my enchanting rolls. This is a good way to calculate the number of turns it takes to reach the end of the game.
Best Ways to Really Improve Spell Save Dc
Instead of using a normal six to reach the target we will use the normal sixes with our intelligence modifiers. This will calculate the number of rolls needed to reach the target. Remember we already know the number of turns it takes to reach level ten and as you increase your intelligence your speed of casting spells increase as well. As you gain levels you will find more options available. Once you gain access to level twelve you will be able to choose your alignment and pick a discipline.
One of the best ways to really improve spell save DC is to make use of your bounded precision. With this ability you will always know the exact time to cast a spell.
The simple factored attribute works by using your charisma instead of your spell save DC. This attribute increases your spell save DC by two and allows you to cast spells at a higher level without having to lower your save. This is just another attribute that you can increase with your ranks in the thieves of the sneak class. At this point you are ready to start casting spells at high levels.
